Adult Beginner Sewing Series

Join us for a Beginning Sewing Class for Adults - 4 Class Series —This class is for the absolute newbie to the sewing world.  Students will learn basic sewing skills including how to construct seams and apply seam finishes, darts, understitching, inserting a zipper and  more.  A fabric pack is provided for students to construct samples to create a sewing reference book.  How to thread and use a sewing machine will also be covered.  Students can bring their own machine or use a classroom machine.

This class will concentrate on sewing sample techniques to learn basic skills in order to move on to the next level class which is a select your own project class. This is a 2 hour class offered every Monday for 4 weeks, starting July 15th, 2024. 

**This class is a prerequisite for other workshop classes.
